Ensemble Designs, Inc. has announced its new, palm sized optical converters are now shipping. BrightEye 45 and 47 provide electrical/optical conversion for video signals in broadcast and OB applications. BrightEye units are a mere 140×140×20mm.

“The small size combined with the reliability of these little units is getting the attention of engineers who choose gear for OB vans,” said Ms. Mondae Hott, Sales Manager for Ensemble Designs. “We add in some extra features to really make our gear stand apart from the crowd.”

There are 28 different BrightEye units ranging from optical converters to video frames sync to audio embedders. The USB interface offers a modern, easy way to control levels and timing on the various BrightEye units.
