Press Release: Ensemble Palm-Sized Downconverter Now Shipping
Grass Valley, CA – 16 August 2008
Ensemble Designs today announced it will show the BrightEye 92-A HD downconverter at IBC for the first time. This palm-sized downconverter is for use in broadcast, sports and OB applications. The BrightEye 92-A will be on demo during the International Broadcaster’s Convention in Amsterdam, September 7-11 on Ensemble’s stand 8.390.
“A couple of key customers asked for a downconverter with analog audio outputs and so we decided to introduce the BrightEye 92-A. We just started shipping last week and the responses have been great,” said Ms. Mondae Hott, Sales Director at Ensemble Designs. “The HDMI output has been a hit as well. OB users like using the HDMI out in the field for confidence monitoring.”
The BrightEye line of converters includes upconverters, audio embedders, TBCs and frame syncs. BrightEye units can be controlled through either front panel, or Mac or PC software access.
